Events Coordinator

A local hotel chain is seeking to hire an Events Coordinator to join their central office in Barcelona. 

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the following.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Promoting the hotel spaces and food & beverage services to potential clients.
  • Collaborating with the commercial management team to develop commercial strategies for the spaces and F&B areas.
  • Conducting sales visits to agencies and companies to acquire new clients.
  • Participating in fairs, workshops, and events to find synergies and business opportunities.
  • Creating BEO’s (Banquet Event Orders).
  • Following up on payments and invoicing.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and organizing the operational aspects of events with the business managers.
  • Managing customer requests: providing quotes, creating contracts, and maintaining a client portfolio.
  • Optimizing the presence of spaces and the restaurant on event-related websites and platforms.
  • Reporting sales results and commercial actions taken.
  • Conducting space visits with clients and providing advice according to their needs.

Why you are a good fit ?

  • A degree in Tourism.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in English, and preferably in French.
  • Proactive, dynamic, and results-oriented personality.
