Credit Evaluation & Collections Supervisor

As a Credit Evaluation & Collections Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the department and minimizing losses while mitigating credit risks. Here are the exciting responsibilities that come with this role

Crédit evaluation

Implement credit policies and procedures to ensure smooth departmental operations
Assess credit for leasing and loan applications for vehicles
Process financial data, conduct credit checks, and inspect all related documentation
Conduct applicant/guarantor due diligence checks and phone screenings
Identify and escalate potential red flags, including fraud detection
Make recommendations for exception approvals to management

Collection

Create and implement strategies to increase the number of successful collections on outstanding debt
Oversee the collection of outstanding credit and invoices to minimize profit loss and ensure adherence to company policy
Run reports and analyze data pertaining to delinquencies and share with executive staff and managers as needed
Communicate with clients to build and maintain strong relationships, reducing the number of default payments
Liaise and communicate with Legal department to accelerate asset reposition

Why you are a good fit

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Banking and Finance or a relevant field
3+ years of experience in credit assessment and evaluation of lending applications
Hands-on experience with accounting software would be a plus
Solid understanding of lending procedures
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and process financial spreadsheets
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
